In Art class we have to show our experimentation of different mediums, so I decided to use them all in the one image. I need to get a scanner... the colours on my page are really vibrant, a photo just doesn't capture them D:
Body outlined with Micron 03 and 005 pens, face drawn and shaded with Micron 0.7 Mechanical grey lead, hair on left page coloured with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils, and hair on right page coloured with Copic Sketch markers, with pencils and copic opaque white paint for small details. Book is an A4 Milini visual diary.
We just have to experiment with different mediums, and test different ways and techniques in which we use them. I'm sure your art class would have something similar?
I completely understand about the colours looking worse in the photo >.< I always put in so much effort too, and the camera insults me. I really like how you've put both mediums into the one drawing. Awesome work!

Look out! There's a Chucky doll right behind you!
You know what would look amazing? A rainbow-coloured octopus like this... Colours turned out cool though, even for a not-as-vibrant photo! Is that a lighter pencil atop the Copics too?
